The construction project for the new Polcevera Viaduct is a source of pride for Italy in these difficult times, and the completion of the deck structure has been a cause for celebration.
A new bridge carrying Interstate 10 is being planned for Calcasieu in Louisiana. The new structure is expected to cost from US$400-600 million to construct and will feature three lanes in either direction, with provision also for cyclists and pedestrians. The bridge will be built to the north of the existing I-10 bridge, which was constructed in 1952 and is no longer able to cope adequately with the traffic volumes it carries. Construction work on the important Loko-Oweto Bridge project in Nigeria should be complete in May 2019. The project has cost around US$141 million, with contractor Reynolds Construction Company having started work on the 1.8km structure in 2011. Spanning the River Benue, the bridge forms part of the 108km road link connecting Otukpo with Oweto and improves transport connections between Benue State and Nasarawa State. Work on a stretch of the road has been carried CGC Nigeria Limited.

The new machine uses the same proven hybrid technology concept used in its 21tonne class hybrid excavator, although its larger accumulator package has been relocated to a position just to the left of the front end mounting.
