Among Komatsu’s stars at INTERMAT 2015 will be what the Japanese manufacturer says is its still ‘unmatched’ third generation hybrid hydraulic excavator – the HB215LC-2.
Komatsu’s European leadership at bauma told the media that the company is at a new stage of incorporating technology into its products – including its latest dozer.
“We’re trying to increase the value in our machines,” said Peter Howe, chairman of Komatsu Europe. “We’re connecting all the data we collect from the machines and are making processes easier.”

Produced in the UK for the European market, the Komatsu “Hybrid” range has gone from strength to strength, with the 1,000th unit produced in the summer of 2020 at the Komatsu UK factory near Newcastle.
Komatsu, through Komatsu (China), will be showing eight of its hydraulic excavator and wheeled loader models, including four newly-released hydraulic excavators.
The company’s PC210LC-8 and PC56-7 hydraulic excavators will be joined by the new PC110-8, PC130-8, PC300-8 and PC360- 8 along with a HB205-1 hybrid hydraulic excavator and a WA380-6 wheeled loader.
The PC210LC-8 has an operating weight of 21,990-23.750kg and a maximum bucket capacity of 1.68m³ while the compact PC56-7 mini excavator weighs 5.3t
