Loxam is on road to Rio

Paris-based construction and civils equipment rental firm Loxam has taken a 25% stake in Brazilian rental equipment business Degraus, one of the South American country’s top five rental outfits, with a strong presence in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro.

    Nicaragua has boosted it budget by $84 million for 2016 in an effort to stimulate the construction sector, local media report.     Brazil’s Transport Ministry is putting the concession contract to maintain the Rio-Niterói bridge in Rio de Janeiro out to tender. The present 20-year maintenance contract for the bridge held by Ponte will run out in May 31st 2015, reports Business News Americas.
