The year 2012 has been a milestone for Chinese construction equipment manufacturer LiuGong.
In January it announced completion of the purchase of Polish company HSW (Huta Stalowa Wola) and its distribution subsidiary Dressta, LiuGong’s first outright acquisition outside its domestic market. HSW produces bulldozers and other crawler machines, while LiuGong is ranked as the largest wheel loader manufacturer in the world, and is also said to be among the world’s fastest growing CE companies.

Dressta is offering improved versions of its 560E and 555C Extra wheeled loaders, with new Cummins diesels. Power for the larger 560E Extra now comes from a Cummins QSX15 diesel rated at 319kW, compared with the 310kW of the previous engine in this machine. The six cylinder Cummins engine drives through a torque converter, a three-speed, full powershift, countershaft transmission, front and rear axle drives and conventional differentials.
Case Construction Equipment has expanded its F Series wheeled loader range with the introduction of the 521F and 621F. Using a central cooling pack design and rear-mounted engine layout, Case said these two models bring new levels of performance to the loader market. With bucket capacities of 3.2tonnes and 4.3tonnes
