Terex Washing Systems’ AggreSand 206 wash plant is capable of handling up to 400 tonnes of material every hour, allowing customers to produce more – and better quality – grades, with a number of installations planned worldwide.
Work on a key link in the United Arab Emirates is benefiting from the use of equipment supplied by Sandvik Mining and Construction. The firm supplied key equipment for the Salalah bypass project, a 32km road link that will span the entire length of Salalah City as it runs from Raysut in the east, towards Ayn Razat in the west.
A retrofit for an Ammann asphalt plant has helped the customer to boost productivity, output and efficiency. The firm, Meier Company, is based in Rotthalmünster in Germany. Prior to the plant upgrade, the facility featured four silos and had a total capacity of 280tonnes.
Spanish asphalt plant manufacturer Intrame has now developed its full range of Flow-Mix continuous plants, from 100 to 400 tonnes, to take up to 50% reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP).
“Today, everything is about RAP,” says Intrame CEO Antonio Morón Hodge. “Customers are interested in the ability to add more RAP, to use lower temperatures and to mix with bitumen foaming emulsion.”
