A Norwegian sand producer has improved material quality since it began using a new washing plant from CDE. Reddal Sand's new plant has resulted in a significant improvement in the quality of the product from its site in the South of Norway. Reddal Sand is located in Grimstad, Aust-Agder and has supplied a variety of construction materials to major projects in the area since 1989, including materials for use in concrete, road construction and various types of groundworks.
Terex says that its latest Bid-Well 6500 Automatic Roller Paver delivers high performance concrete paving for slabs up to 610mm thick. The company is launching the new H5i and H7i single drum soil compactors as well as the DV+70i and DV+90i twin drum asphalt compactors.
Asphalt Drum Mixers (ADM) says its SPL hot-mix asphalt plants are an affordable option for contractors with low production requirements. The SPL series is said to include all necessary components for drum-mixing asphalt production, yet can fit on a single trailer frame. The plants provide high reliability while producing asphalt at a very low cost per ton.
