Kristina takes a look at the TamiSoft machine which offers granular measurement of aggregate chunks. The system triangulates Laser beams reflected off the aggregate into a camera, which records up to 1000 measurements per second.

Perhaps understandably, nuclear density gauges can present contractors with some order to move them at all. “One of the problems with nuclear soil gauges is the restrictions on movement,” said John Lamond, Manufacturing. “If you are a contractor projects cross-border, it’s a real challenge to move a nuclear density gauge around.”
Two SafeZone average speed schemes installed by Siemens in Brighton and Hastings, UK, are recording almost 100% speed compliance. The cameras have been deployed along the seafronts at Brighton and Hastings.
The schemes use a combination of visible and invisible infrared lighting which is more sensitive to the effects on local residents and the environment. It’s the first time such schemes have been installed in the county.

It allows infrastructure companies to get better value from expensively collected information and to focus more on the whole life cycle of projects.
