Kobelco has developed two new industrial machines for bauma 2016. The first is a high-reach demolition unit with a 24m boom and the second is a new dismantling machine designed to recycle vehicles that have reached the end of their useful life.
Kobelco has unveiled seven new mini-excavators below 3tonnes at INTERMAT 2015 in Paris as a result of a major agreement with construction equipment manufacturer Yanmar. The deal increases the options for Kobelco customers and potential customers who work in extremely tight environments. “INTERMAT is our first announcement and roll out of these models,” said Sander Gesink, Kobelco’s brand marketing manager.

Caterpillar’s tools division has added three tools to its G300 series of demolition and sorting grapples.
Caterpillar Work Tools, based in the Netherlands, now offers the G310 GC, G313 GC and G315 GC grapples for hydraulic excavators with operating weights between 10-19tonnes. The units are specifically for sorting out debris at source, loading and unloading containers or stripping a building before demolition.

High throughput and long wear life are claimed by Atlas Copco for its latest bucket crusher attachments. The new BC 2500 and BC 3700 are said to offer higher output and better reliability than previous models.
The new units can process up to 80% more material than earlier designs due to new hydraulic drives. The BC 2500 is suited to carriers weighing from 24-33tonnes while the larger BC 3700 can be fitted to excavators weighing from 30-42tonnes.
