GOMACO says that its new GP4, unveiled at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2017, is able to pave widths of up to 12.2m. The machine features GOMACO’s latest technology including a smart telescoping frame, smart pivot arms and extreme steering capabilities, as well as the latest G+ control package.
Wacker Neuson’s newest AS50e rammer is a back-to-the-future move for the German company that is celebrating 60 years in the North American market at this year’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas. Back in 1848, the original rammers were made out of old wagon wheels. A key announcement from Topcon Positioning Group’s press conference at CONEXPO-CON/AGG was the release of the next generation of automated concrete paving — the ZPS system — with the new Z-Robot and Z-Stack sensor. Using enhanced Topcon Millimeter GPS technology, the ZPS system is designed to bring unmatched accuracy to concrete paving with a fraction of the hardware required for traditional LPS (local positioning system).
