Tata Steel used bauma 2013 to boost its Abrazo steel family – its abrasion-resistant steel for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and equipment. Available in 400, 450 and 500 Brinel hardness wear-plate grades, Abrazo is suited to buckets and cutting edges, truck body linings, mining armoured face conveyors, chutes, hoppers and conveyor parts.
The 2010 bauma China event did, as expected, break all previous records, with companies launching more new equipment than ever. Patrick Smith reports. Online applications will open on April 3rd 2018 for the bauma 2019 technology awards. The awards are intended to highlight cutting-edge technology being developed in the construction machinery industry segment. The closing date for the award entries is September 5th, 2018, with the award ceremony being held at bauma 2019 in Munich. The bauma innovation award is being run for the 12 time already and addresses all bauma exhibitors as well as research institutes, universities, research companies and members
