The 2010 bauma China event did, as expected, break all previous records, with companies launching more new equipment than ever. Patrick Smith reports. The queues at the entrances on the first day of bauma China 2010 indicated what the rest of the week had in store. As thousands of visitors poured through the gates each day to view the latest in construction equipment at the expanded Shanghai New International Expo Centre, the organisers knew they were looking at another successful event.
The organisers of bauma China 2012 say that exhibitors can now start registering for the exhibition. Registration closes on 15 February 2012 and at present, 300,000m2 of exhibition space is available.
The bC India 2013 event looks set to be a well-attended and successful exhibition, according to the latest figures from the US-based Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), which is one of the co-organisers. Nearly 700 exhibitors from 33 countries have applied for space at bC India which will also feature an extensive supporting programe.
