Dynapac launches new DRQ Series

Three years back, Dynapac launched a new range of light compaction equipment. The portfolio included rammers, plates and rollers. The reversible vibratory plate series - DRP - featured cast-iron base-plate and completely closed hood.

The reversible plate portfolio is set for expansion with addition of the new DRQ series. This series will feature HARDOX base plate and a cage-style protection hood construction. The entire portfolio would be launched in multiple phases starting with the Honda petrol or gasoline models, from July. Hatz diesel models would be added thereafter. Once complete, the models would range from 150kg (300lbs) to 500kg (1100lb).

This 588km road connects Romanian capital Bucharest with the Hungarian border and links to the Hungarian M4 highway. Plans for the A3 got the go-ahead in 2004 and the route runs via Ploieti, Braov, Sighioara, Târgu Mure, Cluj-Napoca, Zalau and Oradea to the Hungarian border, with completion scheduled for 2017.

    JCB is widening its WORKMAX range of utlity vehciles with the addition of a new 4x4 model. The new model is the WORKMAX 800D and offers 600kg maximum payload and this introduction extends the range, which also includes the 1000D model 4x4, and the 6x4 variant. Power for the new model comes from a 784cc Yanmar diesel engine coupled to a two-speed CVT with a Kevlar belt. The 800D model is a mid-range model with 4x4 drive and a selectable differential lock that is electronically controlled.
