    Wacker Neuson’s newest AS50e rammer is a back-to-the-future move for the German company that is celebrating 60 years in the North American market at this year’s CONEXPO-CON/AGG in Las Vegas. Back in 1848, the original rammers were made out of old wagon wheels. They had zero emissions and were totally silent to use, except maybe for the sounds of the operator who manually pounded down the dirt.

    Perkins announced the development of an engine app for IOS and Android-based smart phones at CONEXPO-CON/AGG. Called the Perkins My Engine app, it allows end-users to register their Perkins engine by serial number, to gain access to a service items, build data, service manual and parts manual.
  • CMI unveils Tier 4 Final version of SF-3 slipform paver

    CMI Concrete Machinery has introduced an upgraded SF-3 two-track slipform paver at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG show in Las Vegas. With a hydraulically-extending frame on both sides of the machine, paving widths range from 3.66m to 7.92m. The machine can also be supplied with bolt-in mainframe extensions, taking paving widths to a maximum 11m.
