Takeuchi has revealed three mini excavators, two to replace existing models and a totally new addition to the line-up. The smallest of the three, the TB210R, is currently in prototype form, but should be with dealers by the end of 2015. Weighing in at 1,150kg it will eventually replace the 800kg TB108 as Takeuchi’s smallest micro digger.

Dressta, the Poland-based LiuGong subsidiary, is developing its next generation of dozer crawlers, the first of which will be potentially available to customers sometime in 2016. Speaking at a recent Dressta press event at the firm’s HQ and factory in Stalowa Wola, southern Poland, David Beatenbough, LiuGong’s vice president, said: “We’ve got major work going on our next generation crawler dozer. With new systems coming to market, Trimble is keen to retain its strong position in the machine control segment. The firm is now introducing advanced technology for the bulldozer segment, which utilises similar systems to the Earthworks package unveiled for excavators at the CONEXPO show in early 2017.
