The company said that the new structure gives a single point of co-ordination and that its wide range of steel ensures that equipment makers get the right product for the job. One of the services it is promoting is a collaborative design-driven approach in which it can work with major equipment makers from the early stages of vehicle development.
Metso is pushing its technology and service packages from the mining sector into the aggregates industry so that quarry operators can benefit from tailored solutions that will “improve productivity and cost efficiency” figures. Users can pay with a monthly fee or by a cost per tonne route that also commits Metso to making things run as smoothly as possible.
