  • South Korea connection under construction

    Construction has commenced on a contract to build a new 27km road link in South Korea. The road will connect the northern and southern regions of South Korea’s Saemanguem area. The work is costing US$813 million and is being carried out in two stages. The first stage of the project should be complete by 2022.
  • Serbia-Kosovo highway connection construction

    Construction work on a new highway connection from the Serbian border to the Kosovan capital of Pristina will commence in 2018. The highway will run from Nis on the border to Pristina and is expected to cost around €200 million to construct. Funding for the project has yet to be finalised though the European Investment Bank (EIB) may well play a role in providing financing.
  • Key Colombia connection construction contract

    Construction work on a new road link connecting Mulalo with Loboguerrero in Colombia will commence in the third quarter of 2018. The 31km link is being handled by Colombia's National Infrastructure Agency (ANI) and is expected to cost US$560.5 million. The plans are being drawn up for the project while the necessary environmental permits are being sought from Colombia’s National Environmental Licensing Agency (ANLA). The new link will be located in Colombia’s Valle del Cauca department.
  • Constructing California connections - cutting congestion

    New road construction work in California will help cut congestion on existing routes. The work is costing close to US$104 million and will commence later in 2016 to the north of the city of San Diego. The funding for the work is coming from the California Transportation Commission (Caltrans). The work will form part of the $700 million North Coast Corridor Programme, which is being administered jointly by the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) and Caltrans.
