CIFA launches eco-friendly Energya truck mixer at INTERMAT 2015

CIFA's environmentally-friendly and super-quiet Energya E9 truck mixer uses a drum driven by an electric motor. The Italian-designed machine uses an on-board lithium battery as its power source.     Dana Rexroth Transmission Systems, the joint venture Dana and Bosch Rexroth, is to launch the R2 hydromechanical variable transmission (HVT). The modular transmission uses both a hydrostatic drive and a mechanical gearbox to deliver fuel savings of up to 25% compared to a torque converter transmission.
