CIFA's environmentally-friendly and super-quiet Energya E9 truck mixer uses a drum driven by an electric motor. The Italian-designed machine uses an on-board lithium battery as its power source. Power for the larger 560E Extra now comes from a Cummins QSX15 diesel rated at 319kW, compared with the 310kW of the previous engine in this machine.
