Iran’s road safety record has been poor for many years, with the country amongst the worst in the world for fatality levels/head of population. However in recent years a general improvement has been seen with a reduction in the overall death toll from crashes.
The organisers of the 2012 World of Asphalt/World of Aggregates event in Charlotte North Carolina claim records have been broken for this year’s exhibition and conference. The event is run by the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, AEM.
According to the US-based Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) demand is strong already for stand space at the World of Asphalt and AGG1 2013 exhibition. The co-located expositions are more than 15% ahead of the 2012 show for the same time in the show cycle, with about 11 months to go until opening day.
