CEMEX's clever range of concrete solutions

CEMEX is using World of Concrete Europe 2015 to show off a clever range of solutions that include permeable concrete with water flowing through it, lightweight concrete that floats on air, insulating concrete over flames and a highly flexible concrete that uses steel fibres rather than rebar.

Still at prototype stage, the 667cc and 772cc capacity single-cylinder engine is a new variant of an existing Hatz engine design. As such, it uses common components from the Hatz range, but it differs with an all-new cylinder block and cylinder head design that includes a water jacket, allowing liquid cooling to be introduced.
