CEMEX's clever range of concrete solutions

CEMEX is using World of Concrete Europe 2015 to show off a clever range of solutions that include permeable concrete with water flowing through it, lightweight concrete that floats on air, insulating concrete over flames and a highly flexible concrete that uses steel fibres rather than rebar.

    Contractor ICA Construction used two Aquajet robotic hydrodemolition machines at the top of a 120m-high bridge pylon located in the city of St Petersburg. The two Aquajet robotic water cutters were used to remove surplus concrete from around the inner steel structure of the bridge pylon.
