A 50-tonne prototype dump truck is the centrepiece of Bell’s impressive stand at INTERMAT 2015 and offers a real glimpse of the heavy construction industry’s future.
As part of the R1 southern orbital motorway around the Czech capital, Prague, a joint venture is building a five-span, 461m long and approximately 65m high viaduct near the village of Lochkov, as a girder bridge construction. For the two steeply inclined twin piers, Doka has supplied an automatic climbing formwork solution that obviates the need for shoring and that will "cut more than 100 days from the construction period."

Bell Equipment is offering a special narrow version of its B30E truck for use on road. The machine has narrower tyres than the standard model, giving it a width of just under 3m. This allows it to be used on-road, with customers also able to specify it with a full package of road equipment such as suitable mudguards, lighting and licence plates.
Bonfiglioli Trasmital has developed a new series of travel drive gearboxes for use in large, heavy duty tracked machines. The firm is now offering three new product sizes, the 722C, 724C and 726C, which extend its range of tracked travel drives. The 722C develops a maximum torque of up to 330,000Nm, making it suitable for use on excavators of 120-150tonnes, as well as cranes and drilling rigs of 180-230tonnes. The 724C develops a maximum torque of up to 450,000Nm, and is specially designed for large cranes
