Rototilt, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2016, is introducing an additional tiltrotator to its line-up, to better suit excavators in the 14-19tonne sector. The R5 has been designed to sit between, and slightly overlap the existing R4 and R6 models, delivering an improved power to weight ratio for mid-range excavators. Just a few years after the opening of the Cumberland Gap Tunnel, highway officials noticed moderate to severe settling of the continuously reinforced concrete pavement.
