Torgnum Group used bauma 2013 to reveal its new MTU 1600 Series engine platform, developed specifically for off-highway use, that meets EPA Tier 4 Final emissions requirements. New from Doosan is the DL250 Tc-5 wheeled loader. Weighing in at just over 14tonnes, this machine is equipped with a parallel front end system instead of a Z-bar linkage. This configuration is said to optimise its versatility, allowing it to be used for a wider range of duties. Power comes from an emissions compliant diesel delivering 128kW at 2,100rpm. The machine can deliver 102kN of bucket force and features a tipping load of 8.2tonnes at 40°.
LiuGong is following up its introduction of its first E series excavator, the 922E, with a whole new range.
