Ammann unveils containerised QuickBatch mobile asphalt mixing plant

In response to customer demand, Ammann has developed a new QuickBatch 180 containerised mobile asphalt mixing plant that is easy to transport and quick to set up. It uses a simple “plug and play” electric system.
Spanish asphalt plant manufacturer Intrame has now developed its full range of Flow-Mix continuous plants, from 100 to 400 tonnes, to take up to 50% reclaimed asphalt pavement (RAP).
“Today, everything is about RAP,” says Intrame CEO Antonio Morón Hodge. “Customers are interested in the ability to add more RAP, to use lower temperatures and to mix with bitumen foaming emulsion.”
Ammann is offering an innovation in the shape of its ARW 65-S walk-behind Roller, which features articulated steering. This make allows the user to guide the machine more accurately forward, backward, and laterally.
The new S version has a pivoting mechanism , unlike the prior version which only enables forward and reverse movements. With the S version, the machine can also be moved to the right and left using the control handle.
Amman has teamed up with an Austrian firm to develop digital construction solutions. The Austrian construction process specialist hiQ solutions and the Ammann Group’s Digital Products team have established Q Point, which will provide an independent, open digital platform for the construction industry. The new firm, Q Point, is intended to increase construction efficiency and quality, while also cutting costs.
