Ammann unveils containerised QuickBatch mobile asphalt mixing plant

In response to customer demand, Ammann has developed a new QuickBatch 180 containerised mobile asphalt mixing plant that is easy to transport and quick to set up. It uses a simple “plug and play” electric system.
Hot-mix asphalt (HMA) is produced at specialised facilities where various mixtures of aggregate are heated and dried, combined with liquid asphalt cement (also known as bitumen), and either stored in insulated silos or loaded into trucks and transported to a job site.
