Ammann unveils containerised QuickBatch mobile asphalt mixing plant

In response to customer demand, Ammann has developed a new QuickBatch 180 containerised mobile asphalt mixing plant that is easy to transport and quick to set up. It uses a simple “plug and play” electric system.

The Ammann team was confident it had a game-changer on its stand when the 2007 bauma exhibition opened in Munich. The company’s RAH100 asphalt dryer was about to take a massive step forward for the global highway industry – and to lead the market for years to come

German manufacturer LINTEC has supplied three of its highly sophisticated, containerised asphalt mixing plants for use on the important BR-163 highway project in Brazil. This is one of several major plant orders for the firm for use in road projects in Latin America. According to LINTEC, its activity in this market is helping contribute to the construction of high quality roads that will last.
The high performing CBT Series Concrete-Mixing Plants are said to be both productive and easy to install according to Ammann. A novel folding mechanism has been developed for the base unit of the CBT 60 SL and CBT 105-CB 105 TB models, which boosts versatility. This is said to minimise installation times as well as allowing quicker relocation from one site to another. The plants can be installed on a simple concrete slab or compacted soil.
