Ammann unveils containerised QuickBatch mobile asphalt mixing plant

In response to customer demand, Ammann has developed a new QuickBatch 180 containerised mobile asphalt mixing plant that is easy to transport and quick to set up. It uses a simple “plug and play” electric system.
The new Cat Mid-Sized Asphalt Pavers (AP400, AP455, AP500 & AP555) offer contractors more opportunities to pave both urban and rural applications. Their compact size and small footprint provide exceptional manoeuvrability in tight spaces like narrow streets and small car parks, yet, when equipped with extensions it delivers a wide paving range for rural roads and wide streets.
Henan Roady Road Machinery says that its asphalt plants offer innovative design features, including a novel parallel feed system. Feed materials are weighed simultaneously to boost productivity and the plants can also be equipped with an overhead drum so as to use recycled asphalt. The firm reports success in an array of overseas markets including India, Kazakhstan, the Lebanon, Latin America, Mongolia, Nigeria, Russia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Uzbekistan and Vietnam, and intends to boost overseas sales.
Asphalt Drum Mixers says that its full line of drag slat conveyors can be used with all of its asphalt plants and offer high performance. ADM says a key feature too is that its conveyors can be used with plants from other manufacturers. The heavy-duty conveyors are said to offer long working life and can handle material transport ratings as high as 450tonnes/hour.
