Ammann unveils containerised QuickBatch mobile asphalt mixing plant

In response to customer demand, Ammann has developed a new QuickBatch 180 containerised mobile asphalt mixing plant that is easy to transport and quick to set up. It uses a simple “plug and play” electric system.
The Ammann ARS 30, at a weight of 3 tonnes, is the lightest and smallest roller in Ammann’s soil compaction product line. Despite its size, the machine delivers high compaction output through advanced technology, innovative engineering and a robust engine.
Benninghoven has developed the GKL Silent unit for mastic asphalt duties. The unit has no hydraulic drives and is instead all-electric. The firm says that this new low noise system allows work to continue outside of regular working hours and during the night. The unit also benefits from the firm’s sophisticated new control cabinet.
