    Wacker Neuson has renewed its 1.7 to 2.4tonnes mini excavator range with the introduction of the ET18, ET20 and ET24. The enlarged can has a lower and broader entrance for easier access and egress. The company’s Vertical Digging System (VDS) is an option, allowing the upperstructure to be set vertical when working on gradients up to 27%.

    Yanmar Construction Equipment Europe (CEE) has introduced the B75W, B95W and B110W compact wheeled excavators. The machines have lifting capacities of the 7400 kg, 9300 kg and 11000 kg respectively. Fitted with Yanmar EU Stage IV / EPA Tier 4 Final engines, the wheeled excavators have an integrated smart control system that provides the driver with maximum control, and allows excavator functions to be adapted to the driver and construction site if required.
  • 3D Repo develop virtual reality safety app for Balfour Beatty

    3D Repo is working with contractors Balfour Beatty and Vinci and the UK roads agency Highways England to deploy a virtual reality simulation program for safety training. 3D Repo, a spin-off from University College London, develops open-source software for building information modelling in the cloud. More than 40 different 3D file formats are decomposed and federated in the company’s big data repository.

The facility is offering hands-on machines and power systems technical and sales training to Caterpillar’s dealers and customers in the AME.
