Like the wild bison of North America, this Bison from Italian manufacturer Simem can roam from place to place because it is “hyper mobile”. And when it is not roaming, it can produce up to 500 tonnes an hour, making it suitable for large civil works such as dams, airports and tunnel work.
Concrete specialist Simem’s most recent launch is the Bison mobile batching plant. Designed with road construction in mind, the Bison range benefits from a sophisticated weighing mechanism, created over a three-year research and development programme with input from the Politecnico di Milano’s mechatronic department.
SIMEM says that its innovative BISON concrete plant is both versatile and mobile. The new continuous mixing plant can be used for an array of duties such as for supplying road base material, for supplying RCC applications and for soil treatment.
