Ammann is moving into oscillating drum technology for its double drum roller range as customers push for a choice between vertical vibrations to a more horizontal solution to ensure smoother and more consistent compaction results. Trimble Loadrite’s new H2250 Haul Truck Monitor is part of the company’s vision for the connected quarry, collecting information centrally on a cloud-based platform to give its users a holistic overview. The system monitors (amongst other things) load weights, vehicle activity patterns, cycle times and data from the production plant to keep everything under control.

Ammann has a developed a transport-optimised compact concrete plant that can be delivered in two open-topped shipping containers. Because it is pre-assembled with built-in electrics, the plant can be erected very quickly. It should appeal to markets such as North Africa, South East Asia and Russia says Ammann where it closely matches demand patterns.
