Mini excavator specialist Kubota has developed a new 8tonne KX080-4, which will be on show and CE certified at Bauma. With a tier 4 engine and a completely new cab design, the KX080-4 will join the company’s existing KX-4 series of compact excavators and be at the top end of Kubota’s weight class. Rotar will use Bauma to launch a new range of attachments with the new RDC Series shears, the RDP Series pulverisers and the RHB Series hydraulic hammers. A new RG Series grab will also be unveiled for excavators from 2tonnes to 60tonnes. Furukawa Rock Drill (FRD) is extending its hydraulic attachment line-up with additional V Series jaw crushers and shears. The company has extended its VM Series of rotating crushers from two to seven models, now suitable for excavators of 12-100 tonnes operating weight.
