Globally renowned Austrian formwork company Doka has almost tripled its sales revenue in the last 12 years and is aiming for greater success in 2013, according to Group chairman Josef Kurzmann. Terex Cranes has replaced its CC2800-1 crawler crane with the Superlift 3800 lattice boom, offering improved speed and efficiency for customers. The 3800 can handle loads of up to 650tonnes at a radius of 5-12m and has a maximum load moment of 8,426t/m. The machines offer maximum heights of 4.31m and 5.73m respectively, with lift capacities of 1.2tonnes and 2.5tonnes. Among a host of updated machinery at bauma, Sennebogen has unveiled the 655HD duty cycle crawler crane for the dragline and foundation industries. The 55tonne E Series machine is powered by a 261kW Stage IIIB Caterpillar engine. Both of its 16tonne winches are driven by variable flow hydraulic motors and the machine is equipped with the firm’s SENCON monitoring and electronic control system.

Sennebogen has plugged the gap in its telescopic crawler crane range with the introduction of the 673R-HD. The 70tonne capacity machine sits between the firm’s 40 and 80tonne models, offering a 36m four-stage main boom with two fly booms of 8m and 15m. This gives a maximum reach of 51m. Sany has introduced three new crawler cranes to the European market, all bearing the CE mark. Largest of the trio brought to bauma is the 300tonne-capacity SCC 8300. It was joined by its smaller siblings, the SCC 8200 and SCC 8100, with capacities of 200tonnes and 100tonnes respectively.

JLG International has launched a new telehandler, the 250S. “We updated the machine in order to comply with the new emissions regulations,” said JLG marketing communications manager Xenia Kolijn. The telehandler has a Deutz engine and complies with Tier 4 final, said Kolijn.
