Massenza redesigns its range of three PMB plants to deliver less clogging and faster production volumes

Massenza has redesigned all three models in its PMB plant range. Its engineers have changed the design of the mixing tanks to reduce the likelihood of material clogging; reconfigured the medium-sized machine to allow a fast expansion of production volumes; and added control rooms to the two larger models.

The three models in the Massenza PMB plant range are the Smart which can produce between five and 10 tonnes of polymer modified bitumen (PMB) an hour; the Klever which can produce between 10 and 20 tonnes and the SuperKlever which can produce between 25 and 30 tonnes.

Eric Fontaine joined Rehlko as president of engines in January 2025, not long after the business was rebranded from Kohler.  

“I was impressed with the spirit of innovation and the products we have, together with the high quality of the engines,” says Fontaine of Rehlko.  

“For our products, within the package we provide, we really are best in class, especially around torque and power density.” He also pays tribute to the talent and enthusiasm of the Rehlko engine team.

Indeco’s new IDC 70 jaw attachment for demolition of reinforced concrete structures uses new fast-change system

Indeco has launched a heavy-weight jaw attachment, the IDC 70. Designed for demolition of reinforced concrete structures, the jaw can be fitted on excavators of 70 tonnes and above.

Indeco spent six months developing the jaw, working to optimise its weight-to-power ratio and adding features designed to reduce maintenance and increase productivity. Weighing in at 7200kg, 3.35m long and 0.65m wide, the IDC 70 has a maximum jaw opening of 1.8m, which the Italian manufacturer says beats rival products in the same class.

Trimble unveils revolutionary autonomous machine technology

Trimble has demonstrated its revolutionary autonomous machine technology.

The US software, hardware and services technology company showed off the tech with a driverless Kobelco SK 210 excavator being overseen by the operator of a Bomag BW213 BVC compactor.

Martin Wagener, Trimble regional sales manager DACH, said the system is suitable for a number of industries including roadbuilding and construction.
