Honduras is likely to require some US$528 million just to restart road construction projects across the country. This cost estimate has been established by the Construction Chamber in Honduras (CHICO, which has also noted that construction activity in the country contracted by 36% in 2009.

France-based Dubuis is unveiling its new Neoelec in line BPL36 crimping tool at Intermat 2012.The company, bought by Stanley Black&Decker in 2006, has designed a crimper with 35kN force and 8mm stroke, weighing 2.1kg and capable of 4-185mm² hexagonal crimping.

Morocco is spending 2.8% of its annual budget on maintaining and building roads as part of its 2008-2012 plan. For 2010, the state will allocate a budget of US$777 million on roads, a significant increase over the $413.6 million spent in 2006.
GA introduces expanded parts range at INTERMAT 2012

GA will be introducing a new family of parts at INTERMAT as well as a new range of gaskets. The company makes and sells aftermarket parts for earthmoving machines. It has extended its range to cover Komatsu, Hitachi, Volvo and Liebherr equipment in addition to the parts for Caterpillar machines that it already supplied.
