2492 Ultracrete claims its Instant Road Repair is now proving popular worldwide, having been used in over 25 countries including Australia, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, Kenya, New Zealand and Switzerland. The product is being used in an array of duties including airports, footpaths, driveways, road construction and utilities, as well as for in-filling cable ducts, trenches, core holes, manhole surrounds and drains. The firm says that the product can be used to repair damage caused by freeze/ thaw cycles and breakdowns caused by drying out, cracking and melting of surfaces. This allows a permanent reinstatement that can be compacted and then driven on immediately. The Instant Road Repair is widely approved and available in both 6mm and 10mm grades in black, as well as red in 6mm for use in high visibility lanes. Instant Road Repair offers a first time permanent repair when used with SCJ Cold Joint Sealer & Tack Coat, and can be trafficked instantly. When used as part of the Ironwork Reinstatement System, failed and collapsed ironwork can be reinstated and open to traffic within the hour.
