Wireless technology available on Intercomp mining scale

Intercomp has expanded its wireless efforts to a key mining scale system, the company said on Tuesday at Conexpo. Intercomp, which has provided weighing solutions for more than 35 years, now offers its fully integrated RFX wireless weighing technology on its MS450 mining scale systems.

1315 Intercomp has expanded its wireless efforts to a key mining scale system, the company said on Tuesday at Conexpo.

Intercomp, which has provided weighing solutions for more than 35 years, now offers its fully integrated RFX wireless weighing technology on its MS450 mining scale systems.

The MS450 provides a durable, high-capacity, on-site mining scale solution to maximise payloads, increase operational efficiency and safety, and prevent premature wear on vehicles and tyres. Platform scales can be brought to sites as above-ground portable scale systems or are available as semi-permanent in-ground systems to monitor loads and prevent undue wear and tear on equipment.

Scales are available in capacities up to 725tonnes and feature environmentally sealed load cells for maximum weather protection. Weight data can be monitored and collected wirelessly through a variety of Intercomp devices, software, and apps using the optional RFX integrated wireless communication, or through cabled alternatives.

MS450 scale systems also include the flexibility of manned/unmanned and static/dynamic modes to provide the functionality needed for any mining operation.
