A woman driver in California managed to escape police in a high-speed chase. The woman was driving a van painted to look like the Mystery Machine from the popular TV cartoon, Scooby Doo. Despite being pursued by police cars as well as a helicopter, the woman managed to elude her followers.

    A seven year old US school boy was so keen to get to school when his parents slept in one morning that he took their car and attempted to drive himself.
