Weir Minerals’ new Trio TP260 cone crusher is capable of 260tonnes/hour materials processing

The up to 260tonnes/hour of material processing model’s marriage of high crushing force, high throw and high pivot point is said to deliver performance that maximises a customer’s return on investment. Additionally, the Trio TP260’s compact design optimises mobility without losing out on versatility or performance.

Fitted with a steep crushing chamber angle, large crushing stroke and optimum speed, the Trio TP260 delivers a finer product through inter-particle comminution.

The versatility of the model stems from its suitability as either a secondary or tertiary crusher when fitted with the correct crushing chamber.

Boasting a full range of automation options that meet 7310 Weir Minerals’s standards for manufacturing and design excellence, the TP260, the smallest in Weir’s cone crusher range, is said to be equipped to deal with the most demanding applications in the processing of construction aggregates or crushed ore.

“Reliability and long wear life are key features of this model,” said Dirk Schümann, Weir’s territory manager for Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Denmark. “Our crusher models are at the heart of our growth strategy.”

Of the success of bauma 2016, Schümann added, “We have had a good level of contacts at this show – increasing every day. It’s the highest number we’ve ever had at a bauma. It’s a sign that the market is improving.”
