Wedding on wheels

In Sweden drive-in weddings are now on the agenda. The Church of Sweden held drive-in weddings at a car rally in Vasteras in central Sweden, with some 36 couples taking up the offer. In all 10 priests officiated and the wedding ceremonies included a procession of 1950s and 1960s cars, a gospel choir and a priest singing Elvis songs, to add to the Las Vegas style.

  • New tunnel routes for Sydney

    New tunnel projects planned to be built in Sydney will help to reduce travel times for commuters. The work is expected to cost US$10.36 billion (A$14 billion) in all. Construction work will commence in 2020 and will take until 2026 to be completed if the planned schedule is adhered to.     Hochtief Infrastructure has signed a contract with DEGES Deutsche Einheit Fernstraßenplanungs und Bau to replace the Schwelmetal Bridge on Germany’s A1 highway in Wuppertal. The contract in the city’s Langerfeld district is worth around €28 million.
