Simex is widening its range of screening buckets with the addition of new models

The new VS 1500 features two rotating shafts fitted with screening elements that are said to ensure efficient operation.

The screening system features disks and blades fixed to the shaft without welding. This cuts maintenance costs by up to 75% as the user can replace each disc or blade singly. Each element can be replaced in minutes onsite using a hammer and a punch. The system allows multiple configurations depending on the materials to be screened.

VS screening bucket is designed with the same quality and construction robustness of the firm’s larger VSE model.

The attachment is said by the firm to be unlike similar models on the market as it allows the user to change the output size of the material without having to perform complicated mechanical procedures. Thanks to an original patented solution, the VSE screening bucket lets the operator modify via hydraulic control the distance between the screening elements, and thus the output size between 0-15m

The crushing and screening sector has seen a flurry of new model launches in recent months, with a series of new equipment introductions - Mike Woof writes. Crushing and screening systems play a vital role in the overall cost effectiveness of a quarrying operation. Ensuring that a quarry runs efficiently relies heavily on the appropriateness of the entire crushing and screening set-up for the material input, the output grades and the compatibility of each separate unit. Mobility has been a key issue in rece
