Doosan claims versatility for its new demolition excavator model

The high visibility, tiltable cab on the DX380DM-7 offers a 30° tilting angle and can be used for high reach demolition applications with a maximum pin height for the demolition boom of 23m.

The machine features a hydraulically adjustable undercarriage, which extends to a maximum width of 4.37m for stability. The undercarriage can be retracted hydraulically to 2.97m for transport and features a lubricated, internal cylinder design that minimises resistance during movement and helps to prevent damage to components.

Standard safety features for the machine include a FOGS cab guard, safety valves for the boom, intermediate boom and arm cylinders and a stability warning system.

The DX380DM-7 offers versatility with its modular boom design and hydraulic lock mechanism. This design allows easy changes between a demolition boom and an earthmoving boom to allow different work using the same machine.

The multi-boom design also allows the earthmoving boom to be mounted in two different ways. A special stand is provided for boom changes, aided by quick-change hydraulic and mechanical coupler connections, with a cylinder system pushing the locking pins into place. Equipped with the digging boom in the straight configuration, the DX380DM-7 can work to a maximum height of 10.43m.
