7258 Terex Washing Systems is here this week highlighting the successful launch of its new AggreSand 206 wash plant.

Capable of handling up to 400tonnes per hour of material, the AggreSand 206 is suitable for all industrial, construction, recycling and mining applications.

The first AggreSand 206 wash plant has been installed in the UK at the new 7406 Lafarge Tarmac site in  Bedfordshire, England, where it is working alongside an AggreScrub 150. There are a number of other installations planned globally.

“The use of the AggreSand 206 with the AggreScrub 150 gives the customer the ability to produce more and better quality grades,” explained Elaine Donaghy, Terex Washing Systems’ marketing manager.

Meanwhile, the AggreSand 165 wash plant - capable of producing up to 250tonnes per hour - continues to be a big hit with customers, with multiple models operating efficiently across the world.

Key to the AggreSand concept is the plants’ innovative modular design, serviceability and functionality, offering rapid and easy assembly, as well as easy maintenance.

Able to be fully containerised, the AggreSand plants also come with pre-wired and pre-plumbed plug and play componentry, isolated spray bars and a simple automated control system, all of which have been delivering efficient, productive performance for current owners.

Of the long-term plan for the AggreSand concept, Donaghy said: “We will look forward to rolling more out globally."

Donaghy said that the UK market for wash plants had picked up, with Terex Washing Systems enjoying a “bumper year” in 2014.
