The new, mid-size all-terrain crane has been specifically developed to address the needs of the North American market. Tight turning circles and fast set up times are claimed for this versatile machine. In addition, the firm is also offering a new, class-defining truck-mounted crane. All cranes are said to be designed with customer needs in mind and will help increase productivity and lower running costs for customers.
Michelin says that its X-Crane tyre range offers greater wear life in a tough working environment. This range is designed for use on large, all-terrain mobile cranes with two cabs, up to 10 drive and steer axles, and lifting capacities of up to 1,200tonnes. The Michelin X-Crane can cope with a maximum speed of 80km/h and can handle driving for long distances on and off the road, as well as manoeuvring in confined spaces. Bell Equipment is now introducing its novel E-series generation of haulers at Conexpo. The Bell E-series includes the smaller B25E and B30E models, which retain the firm’s high power to weight-ratios, as well as featuring advanced engine and drivetrain characteristics. These trucks are also said to set new standards in safety, driver comfort and truck management.
