The Bison 120 is one of a growing range of EvoQuip machines

8598 EvoQuip, the newest division of 1222 Terex Corporation on show at the CONEXPO-CON/AGG exhibition, will launch a Cobra 230 impact crusher later this year, to sit alongside the Cobra 260. The 24 tonne machine will offer a production capacity of 140-150 tonnes/hour in asphalt and construction recycling. The Cobra 230 is 11.3m long and 2.46m wide, or 5.15m wide with a side conveyor. It features a quick set-up time and the machine can be moved on site without having to stop the crusher.

As with all equipment in the growing EvoQuip line-up, the Cobra crushers are compact machines designed to sit below the high production crushing and screening models offered by fellow Terex companies Powerscreen and Finlay.

EvoQuip was formed in 2016 and currently offers two Cobra impact crushers, four Bison jaw crushers, two Colt scalping screens, two Kestrel finishing screens and two Harrier reclaimers.

Crushers range from 3.2-30 tonnes operating weight and are intended to make crushing and screening more accessible to smaller contractors and to plant hire businesses that want to enter the recycling market.

Sandvik says that its new QE440 screen offers higher throughput and productivity than the machine it replaces. Aimed at the aggregate production market the QE440 offers 40% more screening area than its predecessor, the QE340, while featuring stockpiling conveyors that are wider, and higher. These can cope with the increased production capacity and can stack larger stockpiles. Punched plate, heavy duty mesh, rock fingers or grizzly bars can be fitted to the top deck while heavy duty mesh or fingers can be fi
