This novel ploy has been suggested in a bid to tempt drivers in the Belgian capital from speeding and reduce accident levels. While Belgium borders with the Netherlands, its road accident rate is significantly higher.

    A new study by researchers at the University of Bologna in Italy suggests that young drivers are twice as likely to have a crash if they felt sleepy at the wheel or have had problems sleeping.
