Taxing times

A taxi driver in Kyrgyzstan attempted to drive off after being stopped by police for a traffic infringement. The plucky policeman however had different ideas and held on tightly to the bonnet of the car, even as the driver veered from side to side of the road in an attempt to throw the officer off the vehicle.

A taxi driver in Kyrgyzstan attempted to drive off after being stopped by police for a traffic infringement. The plucky policeman however had different ideas and held on tightly to the bonnet of the car, even as the driver veered from side to side of the road in an attempt to throw the officer off the vehicle.  After several attempts, the policeman was thrown aside bur refused to give up and continued his pursuit on foot. The driver was subsequently caught and charged accordingly.

    A seven year old US school boy was so keen to get to school when his parents slept in one morning that he took their car and attempted to drive himself. The boy unfortunately crashed the car en-route, although he only suffered minor injuries and was later discharged from hospital. He had missed the school bus and opted to take the car and drive to school but ran the car off the road several times before hitting an embankment and a utility pole.     A dim-witted Spanish driver has found to his cost that the police monitor social media for possible offences. A 20 year old student posted a video of himself controlling his car from the passenger seat. Police spotted the clip online, which showed the driver in the passenger seat steering the car and leaning over to work the pedals.

    A British man arrested by police for drunk driving recently displayed an incredible lack of awareness. Police said that they spotted that the man's vehicle was missing a front wheel as it drove past a patrol car. Pursuing the man was not difficult as officers followed the trail of sparks and they then managed to persuade the errant driver to bring his wounded vehicle to a halt.
