Tyre manufacturer 8745 ATG is launching a major European campaign to showcase its new focus on the construction sector.

ATG, bought by Yokohama more than a year ago, has traditionally been associated with the agricultural sector.

The Galaxy Hulk for skidsteers and Jumbo Hulk for backhoe machines are premium tyres. These pneumatic tyres have a high lug-to-void ratio and a high under tread gauge. They have chip and cut resistance and high overall operator comfort, according to ATG.

The Beefy Baby (skidsteers) and Beffy Baby III R-4 (backhoes) are at home removing rubble and happy with duties on general construction sites and municipal projects. These heavy-duty tyres are multi-purpose for long hours of operation on hard, muddy and slopping surfaces. They have strong - “beefy” -  reinforced lug and supper-sidewall design.

The Galaxy XD2010 is an economical offering for light-to-medium work on surfaces such as mud, dirt, sand, loose gravel and hard-smooth finishes. The tyres are aimed at the rental, light construction and agriculture sectors.

Meanwhile, ATG’s Galaxy Yardmaster SDS tyres are for forklifts and other port equipment for material handling where punctures are not an option for customers. They are available for standard and lip-type rims.
