Skid resistance

A driver in Switzerland found his vehicle coming to an abrupt halt when all four wheels fell off at the same time. The vehicle was travelling at speed along a highway when the incident happened but fortunately the driver, passengers and other road users were injured.

A driver in Switzerland found his vehicle coming to an abrupt halt when all four wheels fell off at the same time. The vehicle was travelling at speed along a highway when the incident happened but fortunately the driver, passengers and other road users were injured. The driver and passengers had removed the winter tyres shortly before the incident but had re-fitted the wheels incorrectly.

    A cyclist was recently spotted on the UK’s busy M25 motorway pedalling along the hard shoulder in the wrong direction. Police were alerted by a CCTV operator who saw the rider as he rode past a camera. Officers quickly responded and escorted the cyclist to a place of safety after providing a few words on safety.     A rider amongst a group of cyclists on a training run in Australia had a rather unpleasant experience. The man was cycling along a road with his team mates when a young kangaroo jumped out from the road side and collided with him, knocking him from his bicycle. Although he was riding at speed at the time, he was not seriously hurt and as one of his team mates filmed the incident, will have video footage to better remember the incident by. The feelings of the kangaroo over the incident were not recorded.
